Sunset Overdrive is an open world action-adventure parkour game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Microsoft Studios. The game was revealed on June 10th 2013, at the E3 Microsoft Press Conference. The game was released exclusively on the Xbox One on October 28, 2014 in North America.

    Gameplay

    Grinding on rails
    Grinding on rails

In Sunset Overdrive it's all about moving, whether it's by grinding on rails or power lines, bouncing off objects in the environment or wall running. The game constantly rewards the player for moving while in combat. The player has access to a vast arsenal that can be accessed by using a radial menu, much in the vein of Dead Rising. Most weapons are made up of different objects such as the “TNTeddy", a Teddy Bear fused with a stick of dynamite.

The player receives special abilities known as Amps. amps are special abilities which can be equipped to customize your character, granting the player special attributes such as the "Tornado Spin", which enhances melee weapon attacks by summoning a deadly tornado. There will be over 50 amps in the game.
