Just saw these on GAF (though it's a very, very old video really). So awesome still.

I still say, to this day, that this game is: 
 
1. Better than Mario 64 
2. Better Platforming than Mario 64 
3. Looks better than most HD games 
4. Has be better sound design than most HD games

It has been a while since i played SMG ^^

I loved doing that while on top of the Toad Brigade's space ship and going into orbit, but I didn't know you could do it in other places as well!

Yeah, the jumping physics just feel so right and fun in this game, why can't every platformer work as good as Mario, be it 2D or 3D...

What a gorgeous game. Fond memories of being mesmerized by it for about three weeks straight.

I feel like starting a new game and getting Mario and Luigi stars...

That's so awesome... I've never tried to do any of this crazy stuff before, but I feel tempted to give it a try now :P

I played SMG again a while ago and went "Man I don't remember the controls being this messy". It took me a while until I understood that my main problem was that I was playing Luigi, his traction seems way worse than Mario's. But yeah I sorta forgot a little about those later levels, fire and ice and that toy themed one were just great.

He has less traction but jumps better.
