Contemplating buying this.
From what I've played of it, make sure you aren't using a keyboard. If you can play it with a controller, and like challenging yet fun side-scrollers, go for it.
I bought it for $3.50, and I thought I wouldn't ever play it. But, I found it fun; the instant restart REALLY makes it bearable, though the game will still probably frustrate you. If you don't have any sort of patience to retry something, then hold off on it.

Why? I'm interested in playing it, I'm just not 100% sure if it's worth the $14.99, and I'd like to know what others think. "" If you need to ask us, the answer is always no.... "

You asked me why and here it is: It's a good rule of thumb to follow. If you need to be convinced by others to buy something, chances are high that you never wanted it in in the first place. Again, don't let others choose for you as you will ultimately regret it in the end.
Sure? I would wait for it to go on sale. Then again, I'm not totally in love with that game as some other people on these forums are.
It's challenging but super satisfying and pretty much an awesome game in every sense of the word. Most definitely worth the 15 bucks; I have about 25 hours logged into it so far and I've only beaten half the levels. If its the difficulty that's stopping you the only thing I can think of that compares to this difficulty in recent memory is Demon's Souls which I also really liked; so if you didn't the mind the difficulty in that then I guess your good for this. There was never an unfair moment from what I've played.
The Soundtrack. That's also fantastic.
It's 15 bucks. What's there to contemplate?
As for price, I like saving money on the "larger" games because I figure they can stand to lose some of my money. A bunch of people will buy the game day one, so I should be allowed to wait until a Steam Sale. However, I like supporting indie devs as much as possible, so much so that I'm willing to spend more. In fact, I get slightly bummed when they reduce their price. As a dev, I would want as many people to play it as possible, but as a consumer, I want consumers to support the dev as much as possible.
I got it as a trade against a copy of HL2 and I think that was a waste. Seriously, something about the way you drift when jumping is just really off-putting. If it weren't for the controller support and leaderboards and amount of levels, the flash version would be better in every way.
Ah, you already bought it. Whatevs.
