I've tried a few times to join a match, but after a few seconds the quick match button unhighlights and nothing happens.

I really liked the game for Xbox live, so I figured I would try the PC version, but I've had no luck so far. =\

Matchmaking has been dodgy since the launch, i don't think they anticipated so many people.

Just keep trying sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and in most cases restarting the game helps.

Yeah sometimes, I have a problem with the Matchmaking. Keep trying. They're trying to sort it out. It's well worth it.

Are people actually playing? I was in the beta and they sent me around FIVE extra invites to give my friends, I assume because they were desperate. I then logged on and it said that only around 50 people were currently playing. This was only 2 or 3 weeks ago.

@gunstar: Since it actually came out theres been a fair amount of people online.

Changing your region may help with the matchmaking problems.

@Giefcookie: The thing is I don't really want to try it anymore than I already have. Unless they made drastic overhauls to the UI it seems impossible to figure out anything that is going on. I also didn't successfully join my friends party once.

The community has also taken a turn towards the toxic MOBA-mentality that prevents people (my friends) from getting into games like League of Legends and DOTA2.

Don't get me wrong, I like what the game is trying to do, and I want to play it; I just feel like it won't let me.

I had a game yesterday. I found it much more MOBA-like than the first, and well, I didn't particularly like it. But hey, it's free to play, so worth a go if you've got a PC! Matchmaking is hellish though. I found joining a group of other players and searching as a group sped the process up

It works fine as long as you keep your ammo cool and your bacon hot.

I've found that the queue takes time, usually around 3 minutes with a EU server pop. of around 1.5-2k players. It always gets me and my pals a match though.

No problems here, just takes 2 mins max to get into a game.
