All of this was somewhat expected from data mining the Mewtwo patch when it came out. I'm hype.

Ryu looks awesome, such an interesting and awesome addition. Don't know much about Roy though, less excited about him because I know so little about him from Melee and Fire Emblem, plus do we really need another sword dude from Fire Emblem. Though I'm delighted about more Smash Bros DLC, excited to see what comes next.

I like Ryu but I don't like Roy. There's no excuse for adding more swordsmen and no excuse for a clone character being DLC. Roy will become the ninth swordsmen in Smash Bros 4. Roy's moveset is apparently the same as it was in Melee. It's interesting that Ryu is even going to be in the game because Sakurai made it pretty clear that he wasn't going to include characters from Fighting games. He seems like a decent guy and all but some of the stuff he says is just baffling.

I imagine it will be like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Ryu. Cool. Though Spaltoon girl would be cooler.

Pretty goddamn excited about Ryu. His specials are pretty obvious aside from having Focus Attack, but he also apparently has a super meter that lets him do EX versions of his specials.

I'm also excited about Roy, but only at the prospect of having a version of Marth that doesn't suck, so hopefully they don't fuck him up like they did Marth and Lucina.

Sure, I'm ok with them putting in some lost clones from the earlier games. I always liked Roy's look more than Marth's, though I didn't play either of them extensively in the last few games. I was always better at Lucas than I was at Ness, who's been one of my mains since Melee, so I'm interested in playing him again.

As for Ryu, he seems like an odd fit to me. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm still looking forward to seeing him in action.

Ryu sounds exciting, never bothered with Roy in melee.

Roy was my boy in Melee, and it's going to be really weird to go back to him now. It's so weird that he's in this game. He's more of a Smash Bros character than a Fire Emblem character.

I'm just going to say it. I am fucking sick of Fire Emblem characters in Smash Bros. There are already way too many as it is. I want more weird characters and non Nintendo characters. God forbid we get more weird shit like the dude on the left from Urban Champion, Starman from Pro Wrestling, a living Virtual Boy, the Wrench from Wrecking Crew, anyone of the commanding officers from Advance Wars, Glass Joe from Punch Out!, or even just a Shy Guy.

Glad to know my suggestion was implemented. Also I feed upon the anger of those who complain about another Fire Emblem rep. Even if it is Roy, the main character of what is probably the worst Fire Emblem game.

I'm so excited for Ryu. Oh god damn I haven't gotten enough of SF2's music over the years, and to hear how Ryu's Smash remix has some similar sounding bass and percussion to the CPS1 version's music has me so HYPE

I think it's super rad that Ryu is coming to SSB! Will I buy it? Probably not. I just don't play it enough to justify buying dlc.

@zeo12: Yeah the pack seems super ridiculous expensive for what's there. I saved a few bucks by just grabbing the characters and levels but it only amount to about 5-7 dollars in savings.
