I agree. I almost want to hate it, but it's just too dumb not to love.

I think this has polarised people between those that think this is the worst, dumbest thing ever and those that think this is the greatest, dumbest thing ever. It's definitely pretty dumb, that's for sure.

But god damn if I don't think it's amazing.

I actually wish she had stayed a secret character until I had the game in my hands and got the "Challenger Approaching" screen. Maybe that would have been too much.

This has kinda been a weird turn of events. I was real skeptical, but after seeing her in all of her terrifying, mannequin-like glory, I'm on board. She's scary.

A bit counter-intuitive to the whole "Nintendo mascot" theme, but they tend to break that rule for nostalgia, humor, or classic third-party rivals. This works for the humor angle, I suppose. AH-PROVED!

I just want a Duck Hunt stage. Is that too much to ask?

@fluxwavez: Frankly think it's a combo of anti Nintendo folks looking for low lying fruit, younger folks still confusing serious with maturity, and people caught up in excitement who wanted a certain character but oh no they took a spot with a joke character.

I hope all that dialogue in the gameplay footage is there when you use it, it sells it as a joke way better.

As someone who's really excited about this game but wasn't sure who else they could add, I totally approve.

I kinda like that she's a martial artist-type character. It's hilarious and awesome at the same time.

Yeah, this is pretty dumb. I didn't think they could surprise me with new Smash characters, but there you go. Fantastic

People complaining about it is the really dumb thing though. Especially when it's about how their terrible character requests aren't getting in because they're 'wasting slots'. I saw one guy talking about how this is ruining the 'true Nintendo Universe' or something.

I have to say, Nintendo is doing a good job revealing the characters. While putting in highly demanded characters like Megaman, we also get some bizarre selections such as the Villager and the Wii Fit Trainer. This is Sonic Racing Transformed PC edition levels of character insanity!

I love out-of-left-field reveals, so I am delighted by this. And here I was worried that a new Smash Bros roster would disappoint me.

The way it's bouncing around behind her at the end I really hope that one of her moves is just to beat people senseless with it.

The best thing they could have done for invigoration of the series was go as bonkers as a game like this is should go. And this is that kind of bonkers they went and I'm loving every minute.

My friend is super outraged at this news. I think it's kind of funny. They're really running out of properties to pull from, and a lot of the characters have been repeats from the same game. So they're either going to have to double down on third parties or do dumb stuff like this.

Śuch an incredible inclusion. Anyone who thinks it's stupid (in a bad way) needs to re-evaluate how they think about the series.

At first, when I heard about Fit Girl, I was disgusted. But it IS pretty hilarious. I love how Sakurai basically says in that one video that no one wanted this character in the game. Sakurai is the world's #1 troll.

Her attacks are snapping into yoga positions. How can anyone not like that?

I think the only kind of person who would have a legitimate reason to be upset about this is the kind of person who takes SSB seriously, and they are not a legitimate kind of person so it all comes full circle

@haltiamreptar: More like a person who takes it seriously in the wrong way. There are people who take it seriously on a competitive level, which is cool for them, but something like this shouldn't have any affect on that part of it.

She actually looks like tons of fun. Villager looks fun too.

Mega-Man not so much, but I like how his animations look like the 8-bit ones.

It's so dumb you gotta love it. I love the offbeat characters they throw in there.
