New Smash Bros game announced on the nintendo direct stream

2 new characters announced, Villager from Animal Crossing and Megaman

I'm not that fussed about the villager from animal crossing in Smash Bros, but Megaman will be a great addition as all his moves seem to be from the other megaman games.

Anyone else pumped for this or really not fussed?

I knew I was going to get a WiiU for this an Bayonetta, but that Mega Man reveal was handled incredibly well.

I hope they put out a site with gradual reveals like they did last time so I can obsessively refresh it all day every day.

The fact that its for 3DS means I can keep holding off on buying a WiiU until they announce whatever Zelda game they're working on.

Did they show footage?

Yeah they are apparentley launching the site today with all the information on it. Could be a long ass time till we hear about another character though as the game isnt out until 2014 :(

Kind of footage, I would say it was gameplay style trailer. I can see the villager being like ness or pikmin.....crap

Pretty pumped by this news, maybe I will get a Wii U if the price drops. Mega Man looked top tier from the footage shown. Is his robot master copy move gonna be his b down move or something?

I assume Smeddly meant they do not enjoy those characters.

Megaman looks like a fun version of samus to me. Animal Crossing villager looks like a game and watch type, to which I say no thanks.

Which Megaman is it? Original? X? EXE? Another one I am probably forgetting?

Can the villager from Animal Crossing cute the others to death, or does she just call in Tom Nook to do all the work?

Always thought Mega Man would be a good guest (along with Bomberman and Pac-Man; if only for his retro stage alone). And, knowing next to nothing about Mega Man, I always thought the original design was the coolest. His introduction was pretty great too. Can't wait to fight with that music playing.

Looks like the same damn game. Also who the hell asked for Villager? Seriously.

Pretty excited. I've never been super into the Megaman games, but he looks like a fun character, and now we get to hear his stage music.

Also, I'm pretty sure the Boxing Ring stage means we'll have a Punch-Out character or two added to the fray.

If this was 4 years ago, I would've probably been super pumped. Now...? I'm one of those people who is constantly baffled by the same hype I used to buy into. That being said, if I had a WiiU I would get this game, despite the fact that Nintendo has exhausted their roster pretty extensively and will have nothing but Lucas-caliber character picks left unless there is an overwhelming number of 3rd party folks.

This is the one game next to Bayonetta 2 that will make me get a Wii U in 2014.

I screamed when they revealed Mega Man. Looks great on Wii U but the 3DS version looks like shit imo.

Part of me wishes they'd spread Mega Man's powers across more than a few games, but the smarter, more awesome part loves that there are tons of MM2 powers. Best powers from the best game.

As a new fan of Animal Crossing, I'm down with the villager. Very excited about this game.

Yeah those characters are crap.....in my opinion, should have stated that.

Yeah the Dr Wiley music over all of his moves/powers of other "man's" was awesome, looking forward to his stage :)
