Obviously beginners need to fight other beginners to learn from one another. Send me a friend request on Xbox Live, and post your tag for others to fight you.

I wanted to try it but I only want to play as Gen and I hear that's not the greatest idea ever.

I'm a beginner. Played about 2 weeks of vanilla SFIV but that's about it.

I just started playing SFII on my Genesis a week ago so I have a bit of practice in, but I'm still a beginner. Can't properly Hadoken-type of beginner.

Don't have the game yet, as I'm in the UK, but should hopefully be getting it through the mail tomorrow. Definitely looking for some other newbies to play with, until I get to grips with the game.

@JJOR64: Definitely agree with you here. I know there's a big thread with a list of XBL/PSN usernames, but it's likely that most people on that list will kick my arse repeatedly. Playing off against other newbies for a while would be more beneficial, I think.

I don't mind you guys setting up matches in here I guess, just don't make another huge list out of gamertags, since we already have one of those. Thanks in advance! How do you throws fireball¿ We should play sometime I'm new to this fight streeting.

I'm in.  I played a few hours of SF4 and picked up the new one yesterday.  I'm pretty friggin' terrible.

why is that? is it because i'm a self-admitting sony worshiper? ;D   i know more people who play on 360 (and GB's community plays this a ton, too on 360) so i'm going with that version. i'm gonna pick up the PS3 version some other time (which is what I did with SFIV, but in reverse.)  "

Yesterday my friend was going to pick up the ps3 version of SSFIV for me at his work because 4 of my 360's were dead, and 2 were at my friends house. So my other friend with my 2 working 360's tells me to drop by and pick them up, so I texted my other friend to buy me the 360 one instead. He texts me back 3 hours later telling me he bought the ps3 version, then received my text and took it back for the 360 one. So, I payed $43.24 Canadian with his discount.

Anyone wants to play add me. I haven't played SF since the SNES really to be honest. I got SFIV, sucked and sold it. But back into SSFIV and planning to stick with it this time.
 
Pretty new to using a fightstick, I had one when I bought SFIV, but sold that when I sold the game. Got the SE version this time. I guess I'll try and get one character down for now, I guess Ryu is the only character I actually know how to use...kinda.
