    Is the PC port balls-awful, or am I missing something?

    Superbrothers is definitely my kind of game, but my only iOS device, a first gen iPod Touch, isn't up to snuff. I'm having a great time with the PC version, aside from the controls. It appears that the touch controls are simply mapped to the mouse, meaning that I have to click on the sword and shield icons during battle instead of just hitting two keys. At least I think I do. I don't see any control options, but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Are there any alternate methods of control that the developers didn't think were necessary to inform me of?

    That sounds like a pretty annoying oversight.

    Awesome. I was having a bitch of a time trying to use my netbook's touchpad to switch between the two.

    Good. Then they shouldn't have kept the fucking onscreen buttons.

    @notdavid:

    Ya, I don't think I would have beaten the game if I had not know about these controls. It is unfortunate that the developers did not indicate that you can use the keyboard to defend/attack.

    The problem is they buried that info in a readme - should really have told you that in game and allowed a remap.

    No reason not to have both.

    I would not say it is a bad port - but is certainly has not been enhanced at all.

    @LordAndrew: I think it would have been considerably worse for them not to tell you about the shortcut keys AND removed the on-screen buttons.

    And actually, the combat is not so difficult that you need super precise timing, this is a port of an iPad game, not a bullet hell shooter.

    At least it would probably cause people to look for an answer instead of making assumptions. Either that or people flood the forums complaining that the game HAS NO CONTROLS. That would be fun to watch. In summary, they totally should have done that because it would be funny. ;)

    Damn straight. I wish I knew that using the Moon Grotto was technically cheating. I was looking forward to stretching that game out over a month, but since I couldn't get the #honest Steam achievement anymore, I just went for the Cheating Cheater achievement too.

    I really wish that I had known this before, but why can't I use the left and right mouse buttons? I was playing it on my TV with just a wireless mouse, and I'm not going to sit there with a keyboard on my lap.
