An awesome fun and challenging game with infinite replay value

I would highly recommend grabbing the demo first off of the PlayStation Network as it is a good teaser for the game and you can find out if it's your cup of tea.  For me, it definitely was, I was instantly drawn in by the gameplay. Everything feels solid and you feel in control completely.

This is easily the best value for money out of everything I've purchased on the PS3 thus far.  Online play is great fun (especially with friends) and there is a steep enough learning curve to make you want to continue to master it against stiff online competition.

There is also a mini-game mode and a tournament mode.  The mini-game mode goes beyond the basic "shoot the ball into the goal" and focuses instead on developing other techniques players will need to succeed in competitive online matches.  The mini-games also utilize the PS3's trophy system in a way that makes the replay value high even in the single player modes.

Tournament mode you play single player against cars controlled by bots, as if you were playing online.  I must say, the bots have very well written AI that makes them great opponents and it really is hard to notice they aren't human players.

I love this game and would recommend it to anyone.  It's the most fun I've had in any game since Team Fortress for Quake 1.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars is the first ever Unreal Engine 3 powered physics based vehicle arena sports game and is possibly the longest game title ever, says Corey Davis developer for the game. Developed by Psyonix Studios -- who helped Epic with the design of the Gears of War vehicle level "Burn't Rubber" -- the game could only be described as soccer with RC cars. Of course, the name and idea of the game seems like something that would be a cheap or free flash game...

      Worth buying, no doubt. 0

Pros: Basic game mechanic is solid.Genuine 'easy to learn, hard to master' gameplay.Multilayered gameplay with 'Aerial's' possible.Mini-games provide satisfying feeling on completion.Trophy list feature easy and hard trophy's which add lifespan to the game.Graphics well suited to game.Con's: Not much content to play with. Only one game mode for Multiplayer, which is a massive Con.Matchmaking can be bad at times.Bad connection makes online unplayable with lag. Overall: I feel that while the game...
