    Released in December of 2009, the Global Crisis Expansion pack (SR-GC) added a new campaign to the series.  A number of engine improvements where also added, most notable region flags on unit HUDs, scripted events for scenarios and an additional 30 game years of units and technologies.
     
     The last offi cial update for Supreme Ruler Global Crisis was version 6.6.2.  Since then, an unofficial update has been posted on the BattleGoat Studios forum (version 6.7.63) with some balance changes.  While these changes have had an impact on game performance, the community reaction has been nothing but positive to the diplomatic rebalancing.
