The Suzuka Circuit is one of the oldest race tracks in Japan. It is located in Suzuka City, Mie prefecture, and is owned by Honda Motor Company. Suzuka is the co-host for the Formula One Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix. The course is 3.608 miles long and was originally designed by John Hugenholtz as a Honda test track in 1962. It hosts the Suzuka 8 Hours motorcycle race, Suzuka 1000km endurance race. it was part of multiple GT racing series including Group C class, and the Suzuka 1000km, to name a few.

Videogame Appearances

Suzuka has made several appearances in video games. It was featured in R: Racing Evolution, Le Mans 24 Hours, MotoGP 3 and 4Pole Position II, Final Lap, Gran Turismo 4, Forza Motorsport 2, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Tourist Trophy, and Auto Modellista. It was also the final track in Taito's Continental Circus and has been featured since 1987 in most F1 games. Although included in Namco Museum, it was instead referred to as the Wonder Circuit.
