Overview
In Swords & Soldiers II players no longer play three different factions but instead can custom build their own army under Red Beard in the quest against the demons. New features are super units, healing units that throw meat at combat units to restore their health and portals through which the enemy forces can spawn much closer to Red Beard's base. The game is planned for release in May of 2015.
The game will support a variety of controls ranging from traditional stick/button controls on the Wii U GamePad and Pro Controller over Wii Remote or touch controls and even a blend of buttons and touch screen controls.
Multiplayer
Just like in the first game, Swords & Soldiers 2 will feature a skirmish mode, letting two players face off against each other in split-screen or two-screen multiplayer with one player on the Wii U GamePad and the other using a Wii Remote on the TV.
