Syndicate is a reinvention of the 1993 game by Bullfrog. Developed at Starbreeze Studios, the game puts players in the shoes of Miles Kilo, one of the cybernetically-enhanced Agents who wages war against enemy mega-corporations on behalf of EuroCorp, his sponsor syndicate.
This game is well worth it at 5 bucks. I know there are a lot of haters but damn I had a good time with the campaign, and the co-op is pretty fun too. Only real downside is that this is an Origin game, no Steamworks.
Really solid game. Singleplayer is a little dull, not bad just run of the mill and cliche, but the co-op is excellent. Doesn't necessarily have the depth to keep you coming back like Left 4 Dead did but it's a great blast for a dozen hours or so.

Hell, the game was worth it at $60 for me IMO. I just didn't get a lot of time to play it, eventually looked at my copy, realized it's an EA game with next to no backing from the company, and knew I could pick it up again later for less than $10.
