    Background

T-Bone was originally a software engineer named Raymond Kenney, and one of the creators of the original project that became ctOS for the Blume Corporation. When he slowly realized the larger implications of the Profiler and the short-sighted risks of putting an entire city's infrastructure on one network, Raymond became a whistleblower, until he was terminated from Blume in 2003 for his increasing objections to the project.

That November, Raymond took the extreme action of triggering a blackout across the entire Northeastern U.S. with a power plant running on ctOS to demonstrate the stupidity of tying infrastructure to the network. However, the blackout indirectly led to hundreds of injuries and 11 deaths. Raymond decided to go off the grid, hiding out in Pawnee, Illinois, and becoming an alcoholic under the name "T-Bone Grady."

Ten years later, T-Bone finds himself forced back into action when a vigilante Fixer named Aiden Pearce discovered his location and offered him a chance to get revenge on Blume. The two of them worked together to erase Raymond Kenney's information from ctOS, and T-Bone in turn helped Aiden rescue his sister as well as find out who ordered the hit on him and his family.

    Bad Blood

T-Bone is the main playable protagonist of the Bad Blood DLC. After the events of Watch Dogs, he plans to flee Chicago along with Aiden, but when other Fixers try to kidnap his former colleague, Tobias Frewer, T-Bone finds himself forced to stick around to rescue him and tie up some loose ends. T-Bone soon discovers that Aiden didn't actually make Defalt leave, as the masked DJ he defeated was actually a decoy. The real Defalt is still in Chicago, trying to finish his revenge on Ray Kenney for killing his brother as one of the 11 dead victims of the 2003 blackout.

Eventually, T-Bone tracks down Defalt's location, only to fall into a trap where Defalt plans to kill Ray in a room with deadly gas if a majority of the victims' surviving families vote to kill him from their online devices. Ray makes a heartfelt plea for forgiveness which sways some of the familes, but not enough. As Defalt releases the toxic gas, T-Bone uses his phone to quickly redirect the ventilation system with the gas into Defalt's chamber, killing him instead.

With all immediate threats finally gone, T-Bone reunites with Tobias, deciding to stick around Chicago just a little longer.

    San Francisco

In Watch Dogs 2, during the "Swelter Skelter" event in the California desert, Ray hosts a hacking competition to see which group can hack into "the Jabberwock" and make it breathe fire upon successful infiltration. Through this event, Ray introduces himself to Marcus Holloway and his crew at DedSec, and later joins them in their quest to take down Blume and ctOS 2.0.

    Gameplay

In the Bad Blood DLC, T-Bone has a similar playstyle to Aiden, as he can acquire and equip all the same weapons and skills. In addition, T-Bone also has a special RC car that can be used to scout ahead, knock out enemies, and extend his hacking range.

T-Bone can carry out "Street Sweeper" missions, similar to Aiden's Fixer Contracts, that can be used to gain money, experience points, and other special perks. Some of these missions can be played in co-op mode with another player online, or repeated to get a higher score on the Leaderboards.
