Game » consists of 1 releases. Released Apr 28, 1995

    Overview

Tails' Skypatrol is a 2D side-scrolling shoot-'em-up developed by SIMS and published by Sega for the Sega Game Gear exclusively in Japan on April 28, 1995.

The second game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series to feature Miles "Tails" Prower as the main protagonist (after Tails and the Music Maker), Tails' Skypatrol features the same platforming perspective as other 8-bit Sonic games. However, Tails is constantly in his "flight" mode and carries a golden ring with him to protect him from enemies. His goal is to travel around an island to stop the reign of the human witch Witchcart (and her lackeys: Fockewulf the Wolf, Bearenger the Bear, and Carrotia the Rabbit).

It was later included as a hidden mini-game in the 2003 game Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (the first time it was available in other regions) and in the 2005 compilation Sonic Gems Collection.
