Takeshi Abo
A Japanese video game composer with a long history in the industry dating back to the early 90s. Today he is most famous for his work on various visual novels including KID's Infinity titles and the Science Adventure series produced by 5pb.
Takeshi Abo is a Japanese composer who's first job in the video game industry was creating music for various ports of western games, as well as original titles, at Star Craft Inc. in the early 1990s. He later joined KID (Kindle Imagine Develop) several years later where he famously composed the soundtracks for the company's two break-out visual novel franchises, Memories Off (Franchise) and the Infinity Series. In 2006, after KID suddenly declared bankruptcy, Abo joined 5pb where he would go on to compose for the popular Science Adventure series.
His inspirations for music come from the Japanese band YMO ("Yellow Magic Orchestra") and his musical inspirations specifically from games are Gradius, Exed Exec, Thexder, Ys, and Sorcerian. His favorite games are Xevious, The Tower of Druaga, and Samurai Spirits.
