    Overview

Takin' It to the Hoop (known as USA Pro Basketball in Japan) is a basketball game featuring teams of five athletes. It uses cutaway scenes whenever a player dunks the ball, or performs a free throw. In these cutaways, the players look more realistic, but look far more cartoonish on the court. The game was a TurboGrafx-16 exclusive, developed and published by Aicom in Japan. In the US, the game was published by NEC directly.
