    Taskmaster first appeared in the Avengers comics, and has since become a mainstay villain against the team. Taskmaster originally discovered his powers as a youth, and used them for his own means as he aged. Taskmaster doesn't consider himself a hero or villain, as his only goal is to make himself rich and famous, oftentimes teaming up with or battling fellow mercenary Deadpool, depending on who's writing their checks.

    Taskmaster in MvC3/UMvC3

    Taskmaster uses the moves he has copied from Captain America, Deadpool, Spider-Man, Hawkeye, and the Black Knight to fight. His two hyper combos also use these abilities. One hyper combo, Legion Arrow, is a huge barrage of Hawkeye's arrows. It can be used on the ground or in the air. The other, Aegis Counter, is a counter hyper combo, and deals damage by dodging the opponent's attack and attacking with quick sword attacks and a gunshot to the head.
