    Team Aqua is one of the two teams players can interact with during Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald.

    Team Aqua's goal is to use the legendary Pokemon Kyogre  to expand the oceans over the land. In Pokemon Sapphire you fight against the whole team and it's leader to stop them. In Pokemon Ruby you see them fighting against Team Magma but you will have very little interaction with them. In Pokemon Emerald they do manage to awaken Kyogre to start a large rain storm.
