    Overview

    Tearaway is a puzzle-platformer in which the player will travel the in game world with the main character Iota. The gameplay involves a mixture of the PlayStation Vita touch controls, build-in camera functionality and manages to incorporate all of the console's additional functionality in some way. The visual style of the game was heavily influenced by papercraft and designer Rex Crowle's drawings and doodles he frequently left lying around the Media Molecule office.

    The game was developed by Media Molecule and saw release during November 2013 for the PlayStation Vita console. An expanded remake of the game, Tearaway Unfolded, was released for the PlayStation 4 with a worldwide release date of September 8th 2015.
