    The Temple of Time is the link between Hyrule and the Sacred Realm. Inside is the Master Sword which only the hero of time can withdraw, after placing the Spirtual Stones. It is also a full blown dungeon in Twilight Princess.

    Ocarina of Time

    The main body of the Temple consists of a large open room containing a warp pad and an altar. At the far end of the room lies the Door of Time, a sealed door that blocks access to the Master Sword. The altar is used to hold the three Spiritual Stones: Kokiri's Emerald, Goron's Ruby, and Zora's Sapphire. Only when these stones are placed together on the altar while the Song of Time is played can the Door of Time be opened.

    The sealed chamber beyond the Door of Time contains the Pedestal of Time on a raised platform. The Master Sword plunged into the pedestal can only be removed by the fabled Hero of Time, and acts as a key between Hyrule and the Sacred Realm.

    The Temple of Time can be warped to by playing the Prelude of Light.
