    Biography

    Terrence Alan "Terry" Crews was born in Flint, Michigan. Throughout his schooling he was involved in the arts and eventually earned a scholarship to attend Western Michigan University as an art major. He played football for the WMU Broncos over the course of his studies and in 1991 he was drafted by the NFL's Los Angeles Rams as a defensive end. He retired in 1997 after playing for four different NFL teams and decided to pursue an acting career.
