I'm thinking about picking up a pair of Lips wireless mics for the three-part harmonies in The Beatles: Rock Band. Has anyone tried this? I know they are compatible, but one of the reviewers on Amazon says he has a lot of lag from his wireless microphones on Rock Band 2. He says the lag is much greater than that of the wired mic and that he is unable to fix it through calibration. I would love to have the wireless mics, but I don't want to screw my scores!

@damswedon: Do you notice any lag whatsoever over your wired mic (if you have had a chance to compare)?

@damswedon: Wow! Thank you! I'm about to pull the trigger on the Lips game with two wireless mics, but, since I don't really care about Lips itself, I want to make sure the mics are going to work for Beatles.

okay i played while my guitar gently weeps with both and from what i can tell the lips mics seems to be more sensitive.
all the options were the same and this was on hard.

@damswedon: That's cool. More sensitive I can handle as long as lag is not excessive. Thanks for taking the time to check that out for me.

Now, I have run into a new problem. It seems the bundle is out of print. It's proving harder to find than I had hoped. Time to comb the Internet...
