So I saw the recommended system requirements on steam...

    Recommended:

      • OS: Windows 8 / 7 / Vista / XP
      • Processor: 2.4 GHz Quad Core 2.0 (or higher)
      • Memory: 8 GB RAM
      • Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 and higher, ATI Radeon HD-Series 4650 and higher, Nvidia GeForce 2xx-Series and up
      • Hard Drive: 449 MB available space
      • Sound Card: Yes

8GB of RAM, that seems, a bit much. On the other hand there are multiple poop references in the description, so I will make sure I have the RAM to handle all that poop

2.4ghz Quad Core is much more alarming, if that's true it won't work on my laptop.

I'm having a hard time understanding why any engine driving TBOA recommends 8GB of RAM...

I'm having a hard time understanding why any engine driving TBOA recommends 8GB of RAM...

Believe it...I run most games at 120/144hz and/or 1440p and I still can't get TBOA to run acceptably, it's unplayable.

Not surprising considering it's a Flash game that runs on a single CPU core.

@mb: Yeah, I'm suggesting a decent engine shouldn't have a need for those requirements at all for that game.

I thought the original point of this remake was to make it run better, since BoI ran like total dick. Either those recommendations are wrong, I am, or that point changed.

It's not made in Flash, so I don't understand how it could not run better.

Well, I'm glad I have a decent PC that will be more than sufficient, but those requirements do strike me as a bit... odd...

I am so excited to start my TBoI addiction all over again. Bring it!

Man feels like it was only a week or so ago when this was announced. Fuck this year is going by fast. :(
