I worry because I don't think Oblivion stands up too well in 2011 and the average joe who picks this up may end up being put off Skyrim as a result. 

I would buy this just to build up my Elder Scrolls Compilation, and that making of DVD would be a good watch, I love all the behind the scenes stuff, that is why I love CD Projekt RED.

Word of warning: if the making-of DVD is the same DVD included in the original Oblivion collector's edition, it is AWFUL. I love that sort of stuff; I watched every single making-of DVD included with the extended editions of LOTR and loved every minute. I love press interviews with Pete Hines and Todd Howard. But that Oblivion DVD is baaaaaaad.

I hope they release this in that Europe they have now.

I played Oblivion on the PC after buying it the day it was released and enjoyed over 300 hours on that game. But now I have a HDTV I might just have to buy this. Dual Analog can still swing a sword. Might give it a try. Who knows, I might like it.

i also bought the game when it was 1st released for the PC but my game somehow wondered off somewhere.

EDIT: also don't get your hopes up for trophies. on 360 they were all basically just for ascending the ranks of the various factions. nothing interesting.
