    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblvion is a RPG for those players who would love to have an open world in which to explore.  The game begins with you in prison, and after breaking out you end up with an Amulet which holds the fate of the entire world.  You’re exploring may be limited to the province of Cyrodiil, but that doesn’t mean that there is a lack of things to do.  You can do quests that range from being sneaky, using magic, hack and slash, and even murder.  To be honest, the game is beautiful visually enough to just explore and enjoy the game for what it is, an incredibly large game where the user can choose their style of play.

Story: 3.5 Stars – A story with its shares of twists and turns as well as battles that will keep you on your toes.  The issue is that while it is an immersive story, it is unusually short, and despite the fame/infamy feature, it has no effect on the main storyline.  The most of the time you will be playing this game is with all of the side quests and guild quest which are equally enjoyable to the main story.

Gameplay: 4 Stars – You can play this game effectively in more than one way, which is refreshing to learn.  You can be the magic man hurling fireballs of death across the screen, play the warrior and break heads with mace/hammer/sword/club/fists, or stab people in the back with a knife in the dark.  You name it, you can probably do it.  Issues arise only with the moderately confusing leveling system which can make it hard to level and obtain the improvement points you want.

Music:  4.5 Stars – Simply beautiful music.  I like to say that when it comes to fantasy games, classical does the best job and this game delivers.  Nothing too repetitive or annoying and it really captures what is going on around you.  If you’re in a battle the beat picks up a bit and if no one’s around you can hear the birds chirping along with the music.

Style: 4 Stars – The graphics are stunning in general with the entire game.  Everything seems to fit the game and the lighting works wonders.

    Bonus Points: None

    Overall: 4 Stars

    Rank: Friend

This game is one of your good friends.  Your buddy may have some flaws, but their hardly noticeable and are outdone by their personality.  Everyone would like to have a new friend, so if you like this style of game or want to try out something different, this is a good choice.

Enter Cyrodiil... after setting aside 200 hours of your time 0

Oblivion is the fourth edition to the Elder Scrolls series, a franchise of role playing games developed by Bethesda that have risen to fame for allowing players to embark on an epic journey and become the character they want to become. Even years after its release, Oblivion is an amazing adventure full of surprises, mysteries, and interesting locations that one could easily spend up to 200 hours playing it .  That's not good, is it? The main quest line in Oblivion follows your character as he or...

A stunningly beautiful game, hindered by the stupidest mistakes. 0

The first thing that strikes you when you start this game up is that it’s a pretty big one. Oblivion’s location of Cyrodiil is big... Huge. And not to mention diverse. Without the in-game map you’d almost definitely lose your bearings as soon as you so much as changed direction and your jaw is very liable to fall of at the first sight of the environment from the very moment you find the exit to the sewers, where the story starts; mountains, forests and lakes – all in the same vista. It is so...
