    Now with the announcement of The Elder Scrolls Online I kind of better understand why Zenimax were so protective of their IP when Mojang started talking about their new game, Scrolls..

    When the law suit was going on TES games were unofficially mostly known by their surnames. However with this new product it's quite obviously going to be known as The Elder Scrolls.

    What are your thoughts? Has your opinion of the law suit changed with this new revelation? Mine has.

    I think they would have protected it regardless. I think they were justified either way - Notch was the one trying to trademark 'Scrolls'.
     
    TESCO is currently my favourite acronym for this game, but I'm sure the novelty will soon wear off.

    yeah, acronyms can be anything. Such as CasEvac, Casualty Evacuation or when people called it SWOTOR to rhyme with KOTOR
