Since a review build of the 360 version of Skyrim has leaked onto the internet, it only seems pertinent that some north-eastern European sounding guy would be streaming it in sheer defiance to international copyright law. Obviously, if you don't want to get spoiled you shouldn't watch it. But if you do, here it is.

EDIT, AGAIN: The youtube got pulled too. Nonetheless, there is probably someone, somewhere livestreaming this, and if you want to do a little digging on ustream or equivalents, I'm sure there won't be a problem. Until they get banned too.

Well from the few minutes I saw: it looks like Oblivion, but with more rocks and less trees.

All I got to see was some wandering on a hillside and killing an orc who wanted to die (random encounter, I assume).

Whether or not the orc kneeling and crying "Mercy!" before the player killed him was contextual to their dialogue or not remains to be seen.

Looks fun, but I agree about the visual design. Parts of the world look super rough texture wise. That said, it's to be expected I guess with Elder Scrolls games, there big!

The guy behind the wheel on those youtube videos doesn't have a clue what he's doing. Also, execution kills just scream Fallout.

I was trying not to scream at my computer. It says "press A to pick up shit" yet there he goes, throwing the item all over the world. I think he did that entire first mission in his underwear, he couldn't even grasp that he took the items out of the chest (despite him looking in it three separate times)

Yea, this game will need to be loaded onto the HDD (if it is already, I'm concerned), if loading times are going to be as long as the ones seen here, it'll be annoying. More worrying to me is the amount of texture pop-in, it completely destroys the illusion the developers are trying to create.

Not watching, not interested.

1) That dude is awful at video games or it's really hard to put something in your inventory rather then just pick it up and toss it around. Either way that was tuff to watch.

2) I really hope that the PC version looks... cleaner. All I could see while the guy had hands or a weapon up was how blurry they both were. That would drive me nuts. Don't show me a close up of something if it's not going to look it's best.

I do agree, though, the textures in a lot of places were extremely poor.

As excited as I am for the game, I don't think I want to watch some other sap play the game. I want to experience it myself in a little more than a week from now.

I was thinking the same thing wile watching part one. This is 6 to 7 year old tech this is running on!? Looked good despite being handcuffed by outdated tech. Oh and the dude playing in the leaked vids might be the worst gamer I have ever seen...my god man go to items and equip something for the love of all that is holy!

I really wouldn't want to judge a game's visuals based off a stream running at what? 360p or maybe 480p?

Good point, plus he clearly didn't have it downloaded onto his 360 HD. I think Skyrim will look great on 360/PS3 and on PC even better.

Yea, im still thinking about cancling my preorder for the 360 version and getting it on steam. Was worried that my C2D wouldn't be up to snuff but i think i might take the chance. I know my GTX 280 would play it fine, i imagine Skyrim is more graphics demanding then cpu but not sure.

And yea, it was crappy quality on the stream but it still looked good there, i always get impressed by the weapons the most, they look like there going to pop out of the screen and knock you on the head, really great texture work there.

Interested to see the PC version. But wouldn't surprise me if the PC version as some technical issues as a result of consoles being the main emphasis for Bethesda. I can't see them caring a great deal about the PC version when they know the majority of the audience will be playing it on consoles. Just hope it's not as bad as Rage, though it was a different developer of course so unfair comparison. But like I said, fully prepared to have to deal with some technical issues when the PC version hits.

Yea bugs come with Bethesda but in such a scale of a game it's no surprise. Never the less it'll be awesome, I think all on formats.

So any surprises here? Or is it similar to what we've seen before?

Been addicted to the streams over the past few days, and I gotta say, it looks mighty impressive. Feels like every 15-20 minutes I was seeing something awesome. Some truly incredible quests, environments, spells, etc.
