    I really would not have looked into this but I got texted by a friend to not download the new skyrim patch right now. Apparently it breaks all resistances in the game, everything still reads normal on items and effects.but they don't work. Along with some other things, I'm not telling you to do anything particular, just excise caution and do some digging yourself before patching.

    Update: Giantbomb now has an article up about this, (thanks Patrick) go read it.

    Are you able to decline a patch on the 360? I would be fine with holding off until things shake out.

    @wubb: Yes you can decline a patch, but you have to play the game offline until you patch it. Not a big deal for Skyrim though since it's single player only.

    Unless you want to be in party chat while you play, then not accepting the patch will be a issue.
