It seems like it's the industry at large that's at fault for creating an environment where a publisher must ship their AAA title within a certain fiscal window on as many platforms as possible to stay competitive, bugs be damned. Something's going to snap eventually, and it's not going to be pretty.
I'm pretty sure i could blame Bethesda/Zenimax for releasing it too soon, even if it is due to fiscal stuff. Especially with a game like Skyrim where there's really not much in the way of competition.
