This is the only game I've ever seen do this? (packaging related)

Today I purchased a new copy of Skyrim for PS3 in Canada.  The game was shrink wrapped with what appeared to be a copy of the manual held into place between the case itself and the shrink wrap on the back cover.  I'm not sure if this is common worldwide, but this happens actually quite often with games in Canada because French is considered a national language of the country.  Basically the second copy of the manual shrink wrapped into place is usual a French copy of the manual for the Canadian market.  So far nothing bizarre.

But I had never seen this before, and I'm not even sure why I find it so weird, but in addition to a French manual being outside of the case and held only into place with the shrink wrap, the sleeve itself was as well.  I am referring to the folded paper cover that is found under the plastic outside the game, it has the game cover etc.  It was folded over the outside of the game, then held in spot by the shrink wrap.  I had to insert it myself into the plastic cover.

Yes as i write this I realize how trivial this issue is, yes I am drunk, and yes half of writing this was to kill time while the game installs on my PS3, but seriously guys I have never seen this ever in a game in my life where the cover sleeve does not come pre inserted.  Madness!

at least the map is cool:P

Yeah had that happen once or twice, I think with old Xbox games, haven't seen that happen in a while. And yeah I live in Canada. I've actually seen a french sleeve printed on the reverse of a normal sleeve before so you could reverse it if you wanted it in French. It beats the massive wall of text on most Canadian games where everything is printed twice in both languages and leaves a two inch-tallspace for screenshots and game description.

Seems like some sort of packaging error. Perhaps the machine that was supposed to insert the cover art into the sleeve was off by a few milometers. That is very odd either way.

I am from Canada and my copy (X360) was like that as well. I assume that it is because the case has art on both sides. Pick the one you want to display on the outside?

Same thing happened with me. The label was shrink-wrapped into place and I had to slide it in behind the plastic on the case myself. Also the French manual was there as per usual.

    I'm in Canada, too btw.

That happened to my copy of Crash Bandicoot: Warped, which is even weirder considering how the covers were with Playstation cases.

I know! I'm canadian, I buy a lot of games (a LOT), I am 24 years old and I have never seen this in my life. That was weird as shit. I cannot find any reason why they wouldn't insert the cover inside the plastic holding.
