What did you get from the Jarl after you returned the Dragonstone and when he names you thane after the first dragon? I thought it was set, but I got a guantlets that give better smithing. I saw Gred got archery gauntlets instead. Then I got an axe that autofilled soul gems.

Did anyone get something different or did I just lose the archery gauntlets and assume the smithing ones were from the Jarl?

@TheDudeOfGaming: I got axe of whiterun as well, but the magic effect is different. Weird, why would Bethesda want to do that?

@MrOldboy: There's still a level of randomness tied into the game. But there are loads of unique weapons in the game, it's safe to say some of them have set in effects, i just hope that there's no more level scaling for unique items.
