The Endless Forest

Upon entering The Endless Forest, players inhabit the body of a deer, exploring mysterious landmarks and discovering magical forest spells. There is no text or voice communication available to the player, so encounters must be handled through a set of predefined sounds and animations.

Unregistered players control an adult stag with no name. Registering at the game's website allows the player to choose a unique symbol to represent his deer which floats above the deer's head in the game. Newly registered players begin the game as fawns which mature after a few months.

Abiogenesis is a scheduled event where the game creators can interact with the players, both directly and indirectly. Their manipulation of the game world results in artistic displays of color and music enjoyed by participants at home and sometimes at art festivals.
