    Overview

The Fallen Angels (known in Japan as Daraku Tenshi: The Fallen Angels, the former sub-title loosely translated to the latter) is a 2D fighting game developed by Steel Hearts and published by Psikyo for arcades in 1998.

Psikyo's second fighting game (after Battle K-Road), The Fallen Angels is unique for its grim art style and less projectile-based fighting system (compared to other 2D fighting games at the time). It is also known for its influences in SNK's The King of Fighters series, with some characters at the time being heavily influenced (such as K' based on Cool and Maxima based on Harry).

The game's plot takes place in near-future 2010, a decade after an earthquake separated an inhabited city (later referred to as "Eden") from the rest of the world, leaving it to decay.
