You can switch it around mid-scroll. It looks to be a tower in a desert, and there seems to be quite a bit of detail to it, so it wouldn't surprise me if a chunk of The Last Guardian took place outside.

From ICO to SotC, there is a boat in the water, then a big tower with a few arches and a pillar or something, some kind of flat structure(I can't identify it),then what looks like a winding fault-line stretching into the foreground, and two lizard save points that cast a long shadow, followed by the SotC tower, and bridge.

How cool I wouldn't have really noticed if not for this post
