    Has anyone else experienced the game jumping ahead a little bit upon resuming a saved game? I don't think it's a significant jump, but still, I regularly find myself starting in an area that I've not yet been to ... typically the start of a new scene.

    Yeah. I think it happens when you hit a new checkpoint.
