Oddly this is the first time I have been legitimately excited to play a game. I don't want to have the experience marred for me if the Quick Look spoils anything. I am waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail tonight. Do you guys think I would be okay to watch the Quick Look, or just hold off until I play the game?

Should I watch the Quick Look

Patrick says to play it on a harder setting. Says on normal he had a lot of supplies left at the end.
So far all that was really shown are the skills. They even cut away from the screen when he changes levels.
I haven't watched the Quick Look so I can't say for sure, but generally they cover a part pretty early on in the game. I'd say hold off until you're a little bit into the game and then if you want to watch it just see if they're at a part you've played to or not. For more story driven games I don't watch the Quick Look, I know I avoided the Ni No Kuni Quick Look for the first 20 hours of the game, which ended up being super uncecessary because Brad was about 30 minutes in.
Edit: Should add that I very rarely will watch a trailer for anything, as I tend to enjoy games more when I know almost absolutely nothing about them.
@the_laughing_man: I know they're usually really good about straying away from story beats. I'm probably just
*~~**~~Paranoid~~**~~*
I'm also waiting for my copy to arrive, plan to play through the game this weekend. The guys generally do a pretty good job of avoiding story spoilers in QL's but I've managed to avoid most of the trailers/marketing for the game, so I'm gonna hold off on watching the QL til after I'm done with the game. Once in awhile its nice to go in sorta blind and be surprised by even the mechanics of a game as well :D
The first half of the Quick Look is just what was in the demo, when they jumped ahead to another section I stopped watching because they were a little bit ahead of where I am in the game. So if you really can't resist temptation you're probably pretty safe to watch at least the first 20 minutes or so.
Man up buttercup, there are no major spoilers.

He also said that about Bioshock Infinite, yet I found normal to be the perfect 'first' difficulty cause I didn't need to worry too much about the lackluster combat and enjoy the story. So.
Just watched it. Nothing that would really spoil the game I guess. There is one part showing a fight with the infected, and another showing a fight with humans. Nothing that a trailer wouldn't show.
No major spoilers to worry about also it is apparantly "not one of those games that can be spoiled by a five word sentence" or something like that.

That made me laugh more than it logically should have.
