Am I alone in thinking that Link's Awakening is the best Zelda game there is?
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
Game » consists of 3 releases. Released Dec 31, 1993
The fourth game in the Legend of Zelda series and the first one to appear on a handheld. Link is trapped on Koholint Island, and to escape he must wake the Wind Fish by finding the Eight Instruments of the Sirens.
Best Zelda ever?
OoT is best for me, too easy though. The GBC ones (Oracle of Seasons/Ages) are close though, very good.
I'm going with Windwaker.
This is my favorite Zelda also. The story line is so good, I'd say the second best in a Zelda game after OoT.
" I actually find myself leaning towards the CD-i games being the best... i just love their interesting take on the series... "
I lul'd.
OoT is the only game I've ever played through over 10 times... Infact I think I've only ever finished about 5 games.
OoT is awesome.
A Link to the Past was better for its time than Ocarina of Time was for its time. Currently playing Twilight Princess (about 15 hours in) and it's pretty awesome so far, but it doesn't invoke the same passion I had for ALttP and OoT. Haven't played any of the others, except the first one, which I played as a kid and didn't understand whatsoever because I didn't speak english.
Link's Awakening is definitely up there with LttP. What I really liked about it was how it's so different from most other Zelda games. It had a great atmosphere and was an example of "it was all a dream" done right. Also, the windfish is awesome :3
I guess my only gripe is the excessive amount of Mario references...
