A narrow projectile.

Most commonly used in fishing, bait can be anything used to lure something to eventual capture.
A stretchable bag that expands when filled with some kind of gas, if light enough, will float in the air. A favorite of children everywhere.
A furniture that provides a place to sleep. In video games, often used to regain health, skip time and *ahem* other activities...

A mouse-shaped incendiary device that zips along the ground when released. It appears in the Zelda series and related games.
Object used to make up a skeleton or skeletal frame.
A weapon or tool that can be thrown and then returned to the user.
Whether it's translucent, transparent, opaque, glass, plastic, or some other material the bottle can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. Sometimes filled with liquor, or maybe an extra supply of lantern oil.
An object that allows obstacles, such as rivers or gorges, to be crossed. Bridges can be made of a variety of materials like wood or steel.
A electronic device for calculating and recording sales transactions.
A moving belt that transports objects (and player characters and non-player characters) from one place to another.
Doors are a common object in most video games, as well as the keys and objects needed to open them. From role playing to shooters, doors are an important component of many games.
An explosive is any weapon or device designed to cause an explosion, whether it be a frag grenade, TNT, or a nuclear bomb.
Whether it's a regular piece of colored fabric or the high-tech keystone of a base's defenses, the flag is the most important asset a team can have and the most precious thing the opposing team can steal. It is also used for racing games.
Plants bearing petals that are often fragrant and vibrantly colored.
An decorative piece commonly found in cities in many video games.
The Goron's Sword appears in several Legend of Zelda games. It is usually obtained via side quests.
A blunt tool used to hit things, whatever those things may be... a nail, a person.
An instrument used in several games. Sometimes associated with magic spells.
An item used by link featured in the game Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. This item allows Link to time travel.
Hearts in video games are often associated with health or extra lives. From picking them up free of charge to buying them for in-game money.
Heart containers give Link one extra heart of health in Legend of Zelda and let fighters recover all of their health in the Super Smash Bros. series.
One of four pieces of a heart container, an item that increases the player character's health in the Legend of Zelda series. They are hidden throughout the game world, or occasionally can be purchased in shops.
A recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series that shoots out a chain with a spike on the end. Once the spike is lodged into an object or enemy, the chain retracts and pulls Link (or the enemy) along rapidly.
Appears in The Legend of Zelda. Is made in Hyrule.
Used to open doors, or anything else that is locked. In any game where the player has an inventory, it's a safe bet that a key will appear at some point.
Before flashlights were invented, this contraption was used to see in the dark.
A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.
