Why you never give the people what they claim to want 5

So there’s this young, scrapping lad with modest beginnings. He comes from some kind of small village, possibly located in the woods. If he doesn’t already have an affinity for green garb, he’ll be toting a bright tunic and pointed hat soon. He’s not much a person for words but he’s mighty courageous, on default of people telling him he is “the hero of destiny.” He’s going to rescue a princess that he may or may not have any prior connection to, from the semi-stereotype that is an evil Persian s...

Greatest improvement to the series since it went 3D! 1

Link stands outside of Hyrule Castle TownTHE GOOD: Perfectly polished, one of the best looking Gamecube games out there, fantastic music, epic scale.THE BAD: Not a Wii game, nothing to do after you finish the game. The Legend of Zelda has been an ongoing series since the 1980's. Enjoying both critical and commercial success, it goes right up there with the greatest game series ever made. So every time a new sequel comes about, the hype is always intense and mesmerizing. An example of this would ...

Twilight Princess is an excellent swansong for the Gamecube. 1

While alot of people say this is a clone of Ocarina of Time, I would have to disagree with them. While there is a few connections that annoyed me, like the frozen Zora Domain, the fact that Link lives in a tree, and the fishing pond, the rest is pretty much all new. Sure you'll have your main 3 characters from the Zelda game like Link, Zelda and Gannon, and Epona comes along as well. Other than those 4 characters, every character in the game is new. Zelda and Gannon have VERY little face time in...

Twilight Princess - the good and the bad 0

kbd here to tell you the good and the bad of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in as few words as possible. ;)The good:+ classic and refined Zelda gameplay (clever puzzles, exciting action... etc)+ fun mini games + good artistic design (graphics and sound) + lengthy single player mode (30 - 50 hours approx.)The bad:- bosses are too easy- midi music - no voice acting- poor pacing (1st half is story heavy and linear whereas the 2nd half is light on story and less linear)- recycled sound  ...

Will the Hero Rise...or Fall? 0

While Twilight Princess is a great game, this installment falls flat due to aged gameplay and several Zelda cliches.Deep in the southernmost region of the kingdom of Hyrule lies a village by the name of Ordon. It is here where the hero of the story, Link, resides and makes his living as a rancher, and has also made himself known as the most skillful rider in all the land. But one day a group of monsters storms his village and the narrative quickly switches to classic Zelda. The hero is about to ...

It's a great game, but don't expect anything revolutionary. 0

The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess an Action/Adventure game by Nintendo for the GameCube and Wii, and is the thirteenth instalment in the Zelda series. It starts off in typical Zelda fashion, with Link living a simple life unaware of his true destiny to save the land of Hyrule. With Twilight Princess been in development for over 3 years, you may think the adventure will be long, and you're correct. This is by far the longest Zelda game in the series, but that does not necessarily make the gam...

The best dungeons in the series prop up an otherwise unremarkable game 0

Any discussion about the quality of Twilight Princess inevitably boils down to a single question. How much do you care about the dungeons in a Zelda game? Are they the most important thing to you by far? If so, you will find Twilight Princess to be a deeply satisfying experience. It cannot be overstated how great the dungeon design in Twilight Princess is, especially coming hot on the heels of Wind Waker, which has both the fewest and the worst dungeons of all the 3D Zelda games. The dungeons in...

One of the best games ever created !!! 0

Game play: You start as link a normal person in a normal town as you start you get some basic items like a fishing rod and a slingshot and you get stronger really fast. Altough the puzzles in the game take hours and hours to figure out its like you always need a laptop beside you to see the walktroughs while playing that can be really annoying especially when you are starting to like the game. This is the first zelda game that i have beaten and i liked it and i suppose that real zelda fans would...

Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC) 0

Zelda games don't come around terribly often, and when they do it's with extremely high expectations. Looking at Twilight Princess now, it's easy to forget what this game's release was in response to, and why it was framed as the "mature" Zelda the way it was. Though the previous GameCube Zelda, Wind Waker, was highly regarded, series purists discounted its cell-shaded cartoonish style as childish. Thus Nintendo, in a move reminiscent, but thankfully not as extreme, of Ubisoft's Prin...

Suffers from Nintendo's slavish devotion to outdated game design 0

I think that there are two crowds who will play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. There are longtime Zelda and Nintendo fans who will gleefully greet another faithful entry to the series with full accolades. Then, there are players like me who are skipped most or all of the previous Zelda games and are eager to see what the fuss is about. As someone who fits firmly into the latter category, I decided I had to give this series a spin. It has many of the parts in place, but sometimes the pac...

    Hate wolf.. so much.. 0

This is gonna be short.  Loved learning the combat moves. Loved the graphics. Bought it on GC because I am a fanatic, so Link MUST be left handed, not righty. Hate lack of directions. But welcome to LOZ Loved surfing the ice chunk, memories of FF7 Bosses are still fun and easy...ish hate wolf, hate wolf, hate wolf.... Midna. not so bad....

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 0

The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess takes on a much darker role than the most recent Zelda games. Instead of having to sale the seas and having a chuckle at the same time, this game has you trying to stop Zant the Twilight King and his leader(I won't give it away) from immersing the land in Twilight and letting his Dark creatures free to rule. The fighting system in Twilight princess is basicly the same as to other GC Zelda game, there is only one attack button and you select the item you want ...
