Pixel art refers to digital images composed of visible pixels, drawn with individual pixel-level intent and precision.
The daughter of a monarch or monarchs.
Used in fighting games, projectiles are objects that a fighter can launch at another fighter to attack from a distance. While they can be used to simply inflict damage, projectiles are often used to maneuver opponents into disadvantageous positions.
When you're able to push a block you know it's a videogame. Usually used to solve puzzles.
Puzzles may need to be solved before the player can progress to the next section of the game. Often it may not be clear to players exactly what the puzzle is, or whether the an in-game items needs to be attained before it is even possible to solve it.
A sound effect that plays once the player has gained a level, solved a puzzle or reached a milestone within the game.

Stalfos are skeletal enemies in the Legend of Zelda series, commonly wielding swords with surprising skill, and wishing for nothing else than to murder the living. Ocarina of Time implied that adults who enter the Lost Woods are transformed into Stalfos.

The ability to move from one area to another instantaneously - typically through some sort of special power or device.

It's the designer's go-to guy. If they want to steer a player in a given direction they'll lock an in game door and force the player to find a way to either unlock it or find an alternate route.

The Zora are a water-dwelling race from the Legend of Zelda series. First appearing as enemies, they were shown to be friendly towards Link in later games.
