The Second Colossus is the second enemy fought by Wander in Shadow of the Colossus. Like the game's other Colossi, it is a large golem that appears to be at least partially constructed from stone. This Colossus walks upon all four of its legs and resembles an enormous bull or mammoth. It resides in a sandy cave underneath a natural bridge that lies just a short distance north of the Shrine of Worship. The Second Colossus is notably larger than its predecessor; however, its method of attack is similar to the First Colossus in that it will attempt to crush Wander beneath its massive hooves.
This battle introduces players to the concept of mounted combat, as Agro can easily reach this Colossus' lair. Players must also learn to utilize Wander's bow and arrows as a means of temporarily disabling the Colossus in order to mount the creature and find its weak spots.
