I picked up this game today and so far I'm really impressed. This is a top down adventure/puzzle game that relies heavily on style and atmosphere. The game is build around a groundhog day premise where you spend your time stopping murders from happening in a grand mansion. There is a lot of mystery and spooky stuff going on but the game has a dark sense of humor about it.I'm about 3 hours in and I think I'm about half way trough so don't go in expecting a lengthy experience. I would highly recommend giving this one a try.

From what I've seen, it's sorta Ghost Trick mixed with Hitman mixed with Clue.

I've been enjoying it but I'm 2.2 hours in and appear to be half way through. Though I did solve the second thing way faster than I felt I should've and got to end saying "that's it?", felt like I just bumbled into the solution and was probably supposed to do way more to arrive there. Now that I think of it that's exactly what happened because I had intended to try something else to solve it. I was thinking to replace the guys drink as step one. I also never followed the girl at all to find out where she was going or have and ideas how I was supposed to save her.

Love the style of this so I'll be checking it out. I also thought Deadlight (another Tequila Works joint) was a really well done game despite the rather lukewarm reception so I have faith in the Brutale.

What an excellent name.

7.4 hours, though...

...about 1.5 of that was spent looking for card 52 for the other ending.

I think 6 hours is a perfect length for this game. Made an impression, didn't outstay its welcome.
