"Stuff Packs" for The Sims 2 are collections of new clothing, decorations, furniture, and other miscellaneous items assembled around a particular theme. Unlike the major expansion packs which focus on introducing new gameplay mechanics, these discount priced add-ins seek to supplement existing features by adding more aesthetic variety.
Happy Holiday Stuff was the third such content addition to be released, and includes a number of decorations and clothing options for various holidays including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and the New Year. Although much of this content was originally packaged with a special edition of The Sims 2 titled Holiday Edition, this package added several much of the non-Christmas content and was released for people who had already purchased the base game.
