    The Stanley Parable

Game » consists of 2 releases. Released Oct 17, 2013

The Stanley Parable is an abstract, psychological, dark and humorous meta-narrative that attempts to make its choices void, journey paradoxical and generate discussion about storytelling in video games.

Should the Stanley Parable Demo be its own page in the Wiki?

I haven't played the full version, but as far as I know, the demo has nothing to do with the final game - it's basically not really a demo at all, at least in the traditional sense.

I think it fits better as its own subheading within the main game's wiki.

I'd argue in favor of this, if only because it adds yet another wrinkle to the meta weirdness. Also The Stanley Parable Demo is to the Stanley Parable as Dead Rising 2: Case Zero is to Dead Rising 2 so, yeah, split 'em up.

So it's like a prequel demo that is not at all cannibalized from the main game but is still

@starvinggamer: I believe what he means is that it's technically not anything from the main game, but it's still using the same mechanics and ideas so as to give the player an idea of what to expect.

Does the first version of this game have it's own page? Because if it still does then yeah this Demo should probably have one as well.

After a long discussion on the matter Jeff has stated that the demo can be handled with a paragraph on the main Stanley Parable page.

He also stated that "HD Remix" should probably be in the alias field and not a proper game name, since it's just being sold as "The Stanley Parable."
