Achievements are extra challenges added into video games that sometimes carry a point value or unlock bonus material, and are sometimes solely for bragging rights.
Action RPG (Action Role-Playing Game), also known as ARPG, refers to RPGs (role-playing games) that use direct, real-time, reflex-oriented, action combat systems, instead of the more abstract turn-based or menu-based battle systems.

Mainly featured in MMOs, a corpse run is when a the player character dies and the player has to return to the location of the death in order to come back to life and/or reclaim items.
Crafting allows players to create their own items with the correct ingredients. It is used mainly in MMOs and RPGs.
Customization in games that allow users to change various parts of their equipment or moves to fit their gaming style.
A specific number that briefly floats above an enemy after an attack which displays the exact amount of damage the attack has done.
Darkness is used in games to restrict access, increase tension, or just to set a mood. Often the player has access to a light source that can mitigate its effect.
Deadly Gas is used in many games as an obstacle and usually causes the player's health to degenerate over time.
The main line of distinction between victory or failure in video games, death is the process of a biological being ceasing to be alive.
Decapitation is the removal of the head of a person or animal.
Dialogue trees are a feature through which the player selects responses from a list of choices, eliciting reactions from NPCs and determining the path of the conversation and story.
