I loved the movie, but never pulled the trigger on the game. I can't tell you how many times I picked it up only to place it back on the shelf. I think I would have liked it. Nice write up.

It really was. Played a fair amount of the Playstation 2 version. Pretty solid shooter. Some wonky mechanics, if I remember right, and it was a pretty stiff difficulty. But a good licensed game.

@Sir_Ragnarok: I seem to recall there being a couple really unfair bits, where the control scheme made fighting some bosses really difficult, but other than that, it was a game I really loved.

I've recently picked it up this game again and I am determined to finish it before Red Dead Redemption is released.

I just got this game today for 2.99 at Gamestop after FINALLY watching the movie a few days ago. Loved the film (i kinda figured I would) and the game is pretty cool (aside from some crappy controls and the fact that the objectives are less than clear as in where to go to do them)

I did the same thing, there was a tiny rental place in the town I grew up in and when the Xbox came out they carried like..one shelf of games and that was always one that was up there, can't tell you how many times I picked it up and looked at the back of the box.
