The Witcher. It is a game which I have not gone one year without playing at least a little bit. I love everything about it and even its quirky spelling mistakes. Which is why I pose the question: What game have you recently rekindled your love for?
The Witcher
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Oct 26, 2007
The Witcher is an Action Role Playing Game developed by CD Projekt RED and is based on the book "The Last Wish" by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. An Enhanced Edition was released in September, 2008. A director's cut version was released for North America on July 31, 2009.
This year, I rekindled my love for...
Oblivion. I started modding more lore-friendly things into it and it plays amazing. Although it does crash from time to time I do enjoy doing a huge questline that re-introduces the Dark Brotherhood and I've also started to do the Fighter's Guild and Mage's Guild quests for the first time.
Fallout 3. I played through almost all the side-content in Fallout 3 earlier this year, having finished the game last year. I tried an unarmed character for the first time, and that is A TREAT! Not having to worry about weapon maintenance or ammo means you have ALL THE CAPS, ALL THE TIME.
Though I'm loving The Witcher 2 so far (so far being about two hours in.)
Creeping back into Plants vs Zombies yet again...

Animal Crossing. I've been playing it on and off for almost 10 years now. Finally got all the fish!
Wow, that's commitment!
I was playing it 5 minutes ago, after trying to play Witcher 2 and being disappointed that i couldn't run it on decent graphical settings i said **** it and went back to the original. The Witcher.
Grand Theft Auto IV
P.S. I played and beat the Witcher during the past few months, and I must say it's one of thee most fascinating video games I've ever experienced.
Viking: Battle for Asgard. Played it for like 10 minutes and then remembered why I hated it. I killed ALMOST ALL the guys in the fort and I had no health or anything left. There was ONE guy left and he killed me when I was in mid attack. That douche. I turned it off after that lol.
I also enjoyed playing Gears of War 3 recently. Shut up, I know it just came out.

Dragon Age: Origins. After playing 2, and being severely disappointed, I just kept finding myself thinking about what I loved about the first one.
I hated Dragon Age 2. It was a horrible game. They completly focused on the Xbox crowd with the new "action fighting" "taking out most of the conversations" and other stuff thinking the PC players would be happy anyway. And don't get me started on the companions, there are maybe 1-2 who are remotely likeable. (Varric and Aveline)

I really enjoyed the old combat system too. The whole reason I didn't get Dragon Age 2 (Aside for some weird graphical choices) was because the combat kind of stunk.
well it isnt out yet and it wont be this year but 2 times have i won money on it and 2 times have they both brought me back to the game. WoW.. First i won money by calling that druids would turn into trees BEFORE BC even came out which I helped that bet till it happened and they were pissed.. Second is the Panda's... I said they were going to bring pandarans to wow as a playable race sooner or later back during BC and i just won me 100$ because of the announcement.. Going to use that money to pay for another subscription once it launches. Just to play as a panda..

Nope none of them are
And I rekindled my love for animated shows I watched as I kid, went back and watched the first few seasons of Pokemon, Batman The Animated Series and X-Men. It was awesome and brought back so many memories, might do it again next year
Initial d. Watched the entire series this year, and got the ps3 game. Feels wayyy more accurate driving a mazda rx 7 in that game, vs one in gran turismo 5. Can't say either one are exact though
And loving the cheap prices of games. Infinity blade, spider man, and others on the ipod touch for 1$ on sales. Considering both of those easly got 3-5 hours of gameplay? 1$ well spent. Then redbox pushing rentals? 2$ for resistence 3 for a night and a half was allll the time I needed with that game. In an economy of games, basically pushing higher than 60$ due to dlc, its nice to have a rekindleling fire of knowing- you can game on the cheap.
Nothing comes to mind. Too busy working to think about games really. Been wanting to do my millionth play through of Dragon Age, but with so little free time, and Skyrim/Saints Row 3 so close, I just can't bring myself to do it.
