This has happened to me twice now, I did all the puzzles in the pink forest with the apples in the trees, and I did all the puzzles on the coast with the rocks' reflections in the water. Both times, I did the last puzzle in the series... and nothing. Are these puzzles supposed to be just optional? Its really frustrating.

The Cherry Blossom Forest doesn't seem to do much but in the Coastal area with the mirrored lines you seem to have missed some puzzles because doing them all unlocks a laser.

@alphasquid: There is a laser in that coast area that I already unlocked a few hours before-hand... Interesting, I think in some areas there are two sets of puzzles and you only need to complete one of them to unlock the laser. That was definitely the case in that castle.

Those 2 on the upper floor of the flower house didn't seem to do anything. Every other puzzle did something that I noticed.

@memu: I actually just completed the flower house... Are you sure? Did you get over to the elevator?

@l33t_haxor: It seems that some puzzles exist just to teach you certain rules ([spoiler]which you need for other puzzles, e.g. in the village[/spoiler]) or to [spoiler]unlock an area for new +1s[/spoiler].

@l33t_haxor: I mean the house in the village with all the flowers on the side, not the greenhouse.

@memu: I just did those two as well but nothing seemed to happen. I was really disappointed.

Having finished all 523 panels, there are probably like 50-100 panels in the game that don't actually do anything; they're just there to either tutorialize/reinforce a concept, or just to be extra challenges.

@ajamafalous: Are you an actual genius?

I haven't finished collecting all of the audio logs, nor finished all of the +1s / obelisks, so I'm not ready to say that just yet!
